DOWNTOWN VALLEY PARKING PROGRAM WILL BE PROMOTED DURING THE SEASON SO IT WOULD BE FROM DECEMBER THROUGH MAY FROM THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY FROM 5 TO 10 PM, WHICH IS SIMILAR PROGRAM THAT WE HAD IN THE PAST , THE OPERATOR WILL CHARGE $5 FEES FOR THE VALLEY SERVICE TO OUR DOWNTOWN VISITORS LOOKING FOR CONVENIENT PARKING SPACES.

UM WE DID HAVE SOME CONCERNS. THE VALLEY OPERATOR HAS EXPRESSED THAT THE INSURANCE COST HAS GONE UP. UM SO TO UTILIZE BOTH PARKING LOT, THEY WOULD NEED TO HAVE INSURANCE FOR BOTH LOTS AND, UM, THAT'S A LITTLE BIT OF AN ISSUE. UM THE PARKING LOT BEHIND THE FEED STORE CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO 40 CARS WHEN STACKED. AND THEN THE VALLEY PARKING ZONE CAN ACTUALLY ACCOMMODATE MORE CARS UP TO 60 CARS. UM AND THAT WOULD REALLY HELP TO MAXIMIZE THE PARKING SPACES AND BETTER MANAGE THE PARKING IN OUR DOWNTOWN. WE DO HAVE THE VALLEY OPERATOR ON ZOOM TODAY. HIS NAME IS SCOTT JACKSON.
