AND UM, MOST RECENTLY ONE OF SEVERAL CALLS AND TALKED ABOUT A REQUEST TO NAME STATION TO FOR THEM, SO I'D REALLY LIKE THE CITY COMMISSION, TOO. CONSIDER RENAMING STATION TO ITS CURRENTLY DOES NOT HAVE A NAME, BUT I THINK THE CHIEF LARRY MESSING STATION WOULD BE APPROPRIATE. THERE'S A WHITE LINE BEFORE YOU GET UP TO THE RAILROAD TRACK THAT TECHNICALLY IF YOU HAVE PASSED YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO STOP THERE. THERE'S ALSO ANOTHER WHITE LINE OVER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RAILROAD TRUCK AND A ONE A AND SO PEOPLE TRAVEL OVER AND THEY SIT THERE. I GUESS IT'S A TRAP ZONE OR A DEAD ZONE LIKE ON THE TENNIS COURT. YOU'RE IN NO MAN'S LAND. THEY'RE SITTING THERE AND NOT SURE WHAT'S GOING ON WITH PEOPLE COMING NORTH AND TRYING TO TURN WEST ON MONTEREY ROAD, BUT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING THAT THE ARM IS GOING TO GO DOWN. SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN. SHOULD WE ASK THE RAILROAD OR THE COUNTY TO LOOK AT THE STRIPING ON THAT THING AT MONTEREY ROAD AND SEE IF THE STRIPE IN HIS MISLEADING PEOPLE? TO ACTUALLY CROSS OVER AND STOP ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RAILROAD AND THEN GET STUCK SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN. SO I'M JUST SAYING THIS OUT LOUD. CURRENTLY THE SCHOOL BOARD DOES. THERE WERE SOME THREATS OF POTENTIALLY GROUPS COMING IN FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND. THAT WE KNOW WE HAD TO TRY TO STEP BACK A LITTLE BIT, BUT I'D REALLY LIKE TO SEE. I THINK IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR OUR COMMUNITY TO HAVE LOCAL PASTORS STARTING OFF OUR MEETINGS AND IN PRAYER, SO I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S SOMETHING THAT NEEDS EMOTION. OR IF IT'S

SOMETHING YOU JUST KIND OF ON YOUR END KIND OF PULLED BACK WITH THE THREAT OF THE SATANIC CHURCH OR WHATEVER WAS GOING ON AT THE TIME, SO IT'S AN ADMINISTRATIVE CODE AS IT RELATES TO THE LINEUP OF THE AGENDA, AND I'VE ACTUALLY ALREADY MADE THE CHANGES TO BRING BEFORE YOU GUYS TO DISCUSS AND VOTE ON. I THINK THE COUNTY TOO, HAD A HAD A COMMITTEE OF SOME SORT TO DETERMINE WHO CAN GIVE THE IMPLICATIONS, BUT I CAN'T SAY I KNOW THE DETAILS, SO I'LL LOOK UNDER THEIR POLICY SETTING AND SEE WHAT THAT WOULD BE. I'M FINE WITH IT. I THINK WE GOTTA I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHAT THE COUNTY'S POLICY IS JUST SO THAT BECAUSE THEY I KNOW THEY ACTUALLY LOOKED INTO IT POLICY BEFORE WE TOOK A BREAK. I DON'T KNOW IT WAS POLICY WAS ORIGINALLY THAT THE MAYOR WOULD SIMPLY. HAVE THE DISCRETION OF THAT. THE WAY THE CHARTER READ IS THAT IT DID HAVE AN INVOCATION. IT DIDN'T SAY WHO DID IT? AND THAT IS WHAT STIRRED UP THIS THE CONCERNS THAT CAUSED IT TO CHANGE THAT, FOR A LONG TIME THE MAYOR'S WOULD DO. SOME MAYORS DID A PRAYER. SOMEBODY'S DID AN IMPLICATION THEMSELVES, STARTING THE MEETINGS WITHOUT A THE ASSISTANCE OF A PASTOR OR ANYONE ELSE. AND, UM, IT KIND OF HAD COME TO AN END BEFORE LIKE, I THINK IT WAS LIKE FOUR OR FIVE YEARS AGO, THERE WAS A SUPREME COURT RULING AND SOME OTHER CASE LAW THAT CAME OUT AND SAID THAT IT ACTUALLY WAS NOT CONSIDERED TO BE A MALICIOUS INTERFERENCE OF CHURCH AND STATE AND THAT IT BECAME THE DISCRETION OF THE POLICY OF THE BOARDS, I GUESS FOR LACK OF THE BETTER THING, BUT IT HAD SOME CONDITIONS TIED TO IT. SO MAYBE I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S SOMETHING WE COULD ADD, BUT THAT COMMISSIONERS CAN RECOMMEND LOCAL PASTORS AND LEADERS TO DO THE INDICATIONS AND INVITE THEM . AND SO I THINK WHEN THE CITY MANAGER WAS TALKING ABOUT THE MILITARY MATTER, I THINK THAT'S WHERE IT WAS. SO IF YOU OPEN IT UP TO A PASTOR, THEN YOU HAVE TO OPEN IT UP TO ANY OF YOU HAVE THE PARAMETERS SET FORTH BY THE RESTRICTION OF CENTRALIZED RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY MANAGER, THEN THAT LIMITS THAT TO THAT.

SINCE THEN, THEY HAVE NEVER HAD A REQUEST THAT WAS DENIED TO ADD SOMEONE, AND THEY'VE LOST TWO OPPORTUNITIES TO ADD SUB TENANTS BECAUSE DURING THE TIME THAT THEY HAVE TO GO BACK TO US AND WAIT FOR A MEETING.
