OUTREACH EFFORTS, INCLUDING ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER TO THE CITY'S CONTACT LIST, DISTRIBUTING FLYERS TO LOCAL BUSINESSES ATTENDING THE COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS SUCH AS TWITTER, FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM. THE PROJECTS ARE EVALUATED BASED ON FOUR CATEGORIES, INCLUDING OVERALL VISUAL IMPACT OF THE PROPERTY ON A PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS, HOW THE PROJECT RELATES TO URBAN STREET AND IMPROVE PEDESTRIAN WALK ABILITY PROVIDES INVESTMENT TO GRANT REQUEST RATIO AND IMPROVEMENTS TO HELP PRESERVE HISTORIC BUILDINGS. A MINIMUM OF 60 POINTS IS REQUIRED FOR FUNDING. CARE PLUS ASSOCIATES BANK IS LOCATED ON +611 SOUTHWEST FEDERAL HIGHWAY. THIS IS A RETURNING APPLICANT FROM LAST YEAR. IN FISCAL YEAR 2022. THE APPLICANT INSTALLED A BENCH AND IMPROVEMENTS WERE MADE TO THE PARKING LOT AND LANDSCAPING. THE TOTAL IMPROVEMENT COST WAS $8268 WITH A 50% MATCH BEING APPROVED FOR $4134. THIS FISCAL YEAR REQUESTED IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE A NEW REAR PARKING LOT FENCE, EXTERIOR PAINT, BREAKFAST, SOD REPLACEMENT AND A TOTAL ESTIMATED IMPROVEMENT COST OF $21,095. THE CURRENT FENCES, 28 YEARS OLD AND IN A STATE OF DISREPAIR IN 2022 2021, THE CITY REPAVED MCPHERSON STREET, MAKING IT ONE WAY BY INSTALLING A SIDEWALK FINISH FREQUENTLY TRAVELED BY RESIDENTS. DEFENSE FACES NEIGHBORING HOMES AND CURRENTLY IS AN EYESORE. FENCE IMPROVEMENTS WILL INCLUDE THE REMOVAL OF THE EXISTING FENCE IN THE RELATION OF A FOUR BUT AND SIX FT. CONNECTING FENCE. WE HAVE SEEN INCREASING ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL THESE PROPERTIES UP TO 7 27% AND THAT'S A COMBINED ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL THE ALL THE PROPERTIES THAT WE FUNDED THROUGH THE PROGRAM. WE'VE ALSO APPLIED FOR TAP GRANT FOR THIS PROJECT STAFF HAS BEEN PRESENTING THE PROJECT TO THE MPO. TO VARIOUS NPR BOARDS FOR RECOMMENDATION, AND IT WAS APPROVED BY THE BOARD AND HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO F DOT FOR REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TAP FUNDING. GATEWAY SINUS PROJECT WAS APPROVED IN 2022. WE CONDUCTED THREE SEPARATE ONLINE SURVEYS AND OPTIONS AND EACH TIME WHEN WE DID THE SURVEY RESPONDENTS PREFER THE WAVE CONCEPT, AND THAT'S WHAT THE BOARD APPROVED AT THE END OF THE PROJECT IS IN THE FINAL PHASE OF DEVELOPING BID DOCUMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION. WE ANTICIPATE ADVERTISING FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. FOR FABRICATION OF SCIENCE BY LATE SUMMER OF THIS YEAR. AS YOU KNOW, A FORM BASED CODE. WE WORK DILIGENTLY LAST YEAR, UM, ON THIS PROJECT, AND WE DID A LOT OF PUBLIC OUTREACH FOR FEEDBACK ON THIS PROJECT. UM, I THINK THAT REALLY HELPED US, UM, TO GAIN SUPPORT FOR THE AMENDMENTS, AND IT RESULTED IN ADOPTION OF THE FORM BASED CODE EARLIER THIS YEAR. THE SIERRA RECEIVES CDBG GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $750,000 PER HOUSING REHAB. WE RECEIVED 15 APPLICATIONS. TOP 13 RANKED APPLICATIONS ARE IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW PROCESS. THE HOME INSPECTIONS WILL TAKE PLACE THIS MONTH TO DEVELOP THE SCOPE OF WORK FOR IMPROVEMENTS. UM AND AS YOU CAN SEE THE LIST OF APPLICATIONS WE HAVE ABOUT 15 APPLICATIONS. TWO OF THEM ARE INCOMPLETE, SO WE ONLY RANKED 13 APPLICATIONS. THE CITY AND THE SIERRA WAS AWARDED 4.79 MILLION IN CDBG COVID GRANT FOR THE ACQUISITION, AND WE HAVE OF THE WILLIE GARY PROPERTY ON MLK BOULEVARD, WHICH IS IN THE EASTERN NEIGHBORHOOD TO SERVE AS A JOB TRAINING CENTER AND BUSINESS INCUBATOR, AND THIS WOULD BE FOR A CITYWIDE PROGRAM AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE I. R S C AH, WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING WITH THE HARD, HARD GAP GUIDELINES FOR THE ACQUISITION PROCESS. WE RECENTLY COMPLETED APPRAISAL ON THE PROPERTY AND ARE IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW PHASE. UM THE ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW WILL BE SUBMITTED TO THE DDO FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL. AND THEN ONCE THEY GIVE US APPROVAL AND ISSUING AUTHORITY TO USE THE GRAND FUNDS WILL COMPLETE THE ACQUISITION PROCESS. AND UM AND DO THE RFP TO REHAB THE PROPERTY FOR THE PROPOSED USE. THE RESIDENTIAL STREET TREAT PROGRAM WAS INITIATED LAST YEAR. THE PROGRAM IS PRIORITIZED BY NEIGHBORHOOD BASED ON EXISTING TREE COUNT DATA. UH, THE INITIAL PHASE WAS IMPLEMENTED IN THE EAST DOOR COMMUNITY. WE INSTALLED 16 TREES IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, INCLUDING THREE OAK TREES IN THE MLK PARK. THE CRE FUNDS, THE MOSAIC ARTWORK PROJECT IN THE CREEK DISTRICT PROGRAM IS LED BY A LOCAL ARTIST MARINA BOLOGNA. THE ARTWORK IS CREATED BY LOCAL ARTISTS AND INSTALLED IN THE CITY'S RIGHT AWAY, UM, ON THE SIDEWALK IN THE CREEK DISTRICT LAST YEAR WE INSTALLED FOR MOSAIC ARTWORK IN THE SIDEWALK. AND HERE ARE SOME OF THE CONSENT PROJECTS THAT WERE COMPLETED. THE CR INITIATED THE PROCESS TO DESIGNATE EAST STEWART AS A HISTORIC DISTRICT IN 2022. WE RECEIVED PRELIMINARY APPROVAL FROM THE STATE THAT EASTER IS POTENTIALLY ELIGIBLE FOR LISTING IN THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES. THE NATIONAL REGISTER APPLICATION PROCESS IS UNDERWAY FOR EAST STEWARD DISTRICT IN 2021. WE ALSO PARTNER WITH MAIN STREET TO APPLY FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION GRANT TO UPDATE THE 1991 HISTORIC PROPERTY SURVEY SO THAT PROJECT IS ALSO UNDER UNDERWAY AND AT THE SAME TIME WILL BE

THIS YEAR, IS ALSO WORKING WITH THE TREASURE COAST REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL TO DEVELOP A FEDERAL HIGHWAY TREE MASTER PLANNING, UH, MASTER PLAN AND PROGRAM ALONG US ONE FROM JOHN JEFFERSON TO CANADA HIGHWAY . THE GOAL IS TO IMPROVE THE GATEWAY CORRIDOR AND WALK ABILITY ALONG FEDERAL HIGHWAY TREASURE COAST REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL WILL DEVELOP PROGRAMS STANDARDS, APPROPRIATE TREE TYPES AND LOCATIONS AND WORK WITH THE PROPERTY OWNERS TO INTRODUCE THE PROGRAM.
